It says in the Bible that he'll forgive my choices anyway when I die, so why can't I just do what I want till then?

You can do what you want until then, according to Christians.

So, basically, you can murder your neighbor and rape babies. Then, when you're ninety and on your deathbed, be overcome with regret, and insist that you see a priest to confess. And then Jesus will welcome you with open arms.

Where in the Bible does it say He will forgive ur choices anyway? You have to ask for forgivness but if u just always do wrong and ask for forgivenss and do wrong again (make a habit of it) ull drift away from God and u wont feel that u have to ask for forgivenss any longer and so u will stop and u wont be forgiven. very sorry to tell u the way it is. So u cant just do what u want...thought u found an easy way out? no such thing!

God is God, no matter what religion you are. People made the different religions, not God. People did this in order to have control over one another and to have power. While I believe that a lot of followers are true to their faith, some people just use it to control and manipulate. God created everything so everything in God's eyes is good. Even what humans consider "bad." When we do something that is "bad," God just looks at it as an experience we gained. So rest assured that God IS your friend and he isn't judging you. You CAN do whatever you want without having to face judgment in the end. Just remember though, that the universe works in such a way that whatever you dish out, you get back. So be careful when you choose to make irresponsible and neglectful choices. You should read the Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsch. That really helped me in this area. Good luck and God/dess bless!

You can be God's friend, for more information
notice John 17:3, and Psalms 83:18 reads
In able to become someone's friend.
You first learn their name
You learn about their personality
Their likes and dislikes
What that person values
People don't think that God has feelings, but note what
Genesis chapters 2 thru 5 read.

No, He DOESN'T say that He will forgive you your choices. You will be judged by them and if you are not perfect you better find one who will save you from the anger of God.

Prov 24:12
12 If you say, "But we knew nothing about this,"
does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it?
Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

Jer 18:11-12
'This is what the LORD says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.' 12 But they will reply, 'It's no use. We will continue with our own plans; each of us will follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.'"

Rom 2:5-13
6 God "will give to each person according to what he has done." 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.

12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 1

2 Cor 5:10
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Gal 6:7-8
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

By the way, because all the messy situation I should tell you that physical perfection in this earth Humans will never achieved, if they don't achieved first a mental and Spiritual control of their self's. and that is what is wrong in to days world, Jesus will come to fix this forever, so hold on to what you have, and keep singing, been happy, and take good care of your self, this is tribulation time,"Some will understand, some don't", God is your heavenly Father, Jesus is your savior, not only that but also your Brother, they are not only my and your friends if we accept the true. about their Imaginary existence?, wasn't Jesus the perfect Baby, ever? Didn't ignorance and greed kill him?, before he could become the perfect politician also?, Tribulation???? I which I can tell you more, I which I can take you up and leave you there close to then.....lol...., Tribulations, and that is the only reality in which we can Illuminate our self's with their light. don't disobey God, and love your Brother, Love Jesus, and all of what God create through him, for me for you, and for others to get to know him and love our self's. <

Much more than a friend. I believe that everyone is misinterpreting the meaning of the cross, and the true interpretaion is this, I think: You are not only going to deal with what you have done, but also with what you FATHER has done. It won't kill you. With the wrong attitude, You will wish you were dead and it won't come. I, for one think with stakes like that, it is a no brainer. Oh, and Genesis said that God Himself repented. I think repentance means learning from the past.

Forgiveness is available for all -
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but will have everlasting life.-John 3:!6
But
It's not automatic-
Not everyone who says to me "Lord, Lord!" shall enter into the knigdom of heaven.-Matthew 7:21
You must ask for God to forgive you while you are still living and you must believe in it, you can't ask him just b/c.

I think you might be mistaken. It doesn't say when you die, it says if you ASK to be forgiven. You can't live your life thinking "oh, I'll just ask for forgiveness later". What if you died in car wreck tomorrow?

Doesn't he want to be your friend, now? A neat offer, especially since nobody deserves it.

Is waiting until death to be forgiven taught in the bible?
