He wont take an HIV test?
i have been dating this guy for almost a year now, we have never had unprotected sex. but we wanna try anal sex unprotected. i told him we should take an HIV test first just to be sure we're both clean. he refuses. we had a huge argument over this yesterday. he ended up calling me stubborn. i know i can be stubborn, but this time i just dont wanna be thinking about HIV after we do it.

Where is the harm?

Well, you can have anal sex protected. But, if he's not willing to take a test, then he doesn't care about you or your health or even his own health. Anal sex is the highest risk sex for getting HIV because it is an area that is prone to a lot of rips and tears. So, I know this isn't what you want to hear. but your health is the most important thing.

DO NOT have unprotected sex with him until he takes the HIV test and gets a negative result. Tell him that it's not an option and if he doesn't take the test then you need to use a condom. Anal sex is more dangerous than vaginal sex because the tissue in your anus is more delicate and tears more easily, which increases your chance of getting STDs. Just remember that once you get HIV, there is NO CURE! He's not worth that risk.
