The easiest and simplest way would be to show that jesus did not die on the cross and therefore there was no resurrection. With this proven, the Christian myth would be invalidated.

I once read an interesting book titled, 'crucifixion or crucifiction' by a chap called Ahmed Deedat. I've just checked google and you can download it from www.irf.net/irf/download/index.htm.

Personally......

whatever people believe in, the results of which are morals and good deeds, whatever the religion, they should continue.

Your question is not defined well enough to answer. Do you mean proving that Christ was not the son of God? If that's the case, it can neither be imperially proven or dis-proven. If you mean proving that there is no God, then you fall onto the same problem. That is why it becomes a matter of faith (i.e. belief without proof). In any case, I think your time would be better served disproving Islam. Islam represents a far greater threat to civilization that Christianity. Of course, living in the tolerance-obsessed culture of the United States, it's very difficult for many people to accept that the ideological catalyst for terrorism could possibly be born of a religion. Hence, we pretend that a suicide bomber's religion has nothing do do with his actions; even when he has claimed that they were the cause.

Whatever you beliefs may be, I might suggest that you take the time to learn a little more about Christianity. I am an atheist, but I believe that the words and example of Christ (i.e. love your neighbor) is the key towards a better life and a better world. While Christians have often made errors (e.g. the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, Stem Cell research opposition), the example of Christ himself was beyond reproach. When compared to the example of Muhammad as painted by the Hadith, the difference becomes apparent.

Another question that may be worth your inquiry is, "why would Christ's disciples be willing to die for a lie?" If it was in fact a lie, and they saw that he was a fraud who performed no miracles, they would have had firsthand knowledge of it. Even still, they went to their graves praising his name. They either saw him walk on water and heal the sick, or they did not. This is drastically different than the examples of the 9-11 hijackers. People dying for their beliefs is nothing new, but how often can we find people die for what they know was a lie? I wish you luck in your quest.

Invalidation already exists within Christianity, and every other religion out there, the real question is can mankind function without it in today's world, I personally do not believe it can regardless if it's seen as a myth.

Do what you have to do to invalidate it for yourself- if that is what's important to you. Just remember, all a true Christian needs is faith. Take myself for instance... I have had too many religious experiences for me to ever feel otherwise. God is with you my friend- you just need to open your heart to Him. Also, sleep well tonight knowing that it makes no difference to Him whether you believe or not. Jesus already died for all of our sins. Just live happy and quit worrying about what other people believe.
And ohh yes... you are speaking in negatives if you think about it: How does one invalidate a "myth", when a myth is a person or thing existing only in imagination, or whose actual existence is not verifiable? How can a person invalidate something that is not truth? One could correctly rephrase your question to "How do we go about validating Christianity?". Thus... I surmise that you just may be a sheep in wolfs clothing!!! LOL!

One World Government whose leader worships in Jerusalem where the Dome of the Rock is currently standing. The following will also worship with this leader of One World Government including but not limited to:

CNN, Pat Robertson, Ted Haggard and those like him, Billy Graham, The New York Times, FOX News, the ACLU, Bill O'Reilly, Pope Benedict XVI, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, all the Catholic priests and hierarchs who molested little boys and adults, Katie Couric, All of Israel, All of Islam, All of Iraq and Iran and so on....

Those who follow the "Christian myth" will subsequently be destroyed by the followers of the One World Government. However, maybe the One World Government is not worthy enough to remain in power....

Smarter men then you or I have tried for 2000 years and have come away empty. You cannot invalidate the empty tomb or the martyrdom of the saints. Best spend the little time you have left on more profitable ventures.

You can't. Unfortunately they have set Christianity up, in such a way, that you can't disprove it.

They've defined God as untouchable by scientific means, and no matter what we say to the contrary, day after day coming closer to unravelling the secrets of the universe, these people will not be swayed.

Be it stubborness, stupidity, childhood indoctrination, whatever...

Just sit back and be happy that you are intelligent to understand why they are wrong and have the ability to reason.

We shouldn't. We should let them go on believing whatever they want, wrong or not. It is more important that they have at least SOME faith in God than try to force them into having what someone else considers the "correct" faith in God.

Example: As a Muslim, I don't force people to convert to Islam. I let that remain their choice. I only try to educate people on my beliefs and let them decide on their own if they want to join Islam or not.

The Qur'an itself even states that you should not force people into religion.
