Girls vs. Grown Women

Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.
Grown women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits in.

Girls want to control the man in their life.
Grown women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.

Girls check you for not calling them.
Grown women are too busy to realize you hadn't.

Girls try to put a man 'on lock' by using sex.
Grown women know that it's the sex of the mental kind that makes a man want to 'lock' you down.

Girls fake-moan, lay there and take the stabbing.
Grown women say, "Just stop", get up, get dressed and walk it out.

Girls are afraid to be alone.
Grown women revel in it -- using it as a time for personal growth.

Girls ignore the good guys.
Grown women ignore the bad guys.

Girls make you come.
Grown women make you come home.

Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.
Grown women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man.

Girls try to monopolize all their man's time (i.e, don't want him hanging with his frineds).
Grown women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special -
and goes to kick it with her own friends!

Girls think a guy crying is weak.
Grown women offer their shoulder and a tissue.

Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.
Grown women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate w/o fear of losing his 'manhood'.

Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.
Grown women know that that was just one man.

Girls fall in love, chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, ignoring all 'signs'.
Grown women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you back
-- and move on, without bitterness.

Girls will read this and get an attitude.
Grown women will read this and pass it on to other Grown women !!

Some of these are true, some only apply to some girls. Some girls are more mature than some of the statements you posted. The same goes for women being less mature than some statements. Here are mine (I am 17 and I will put how it applies to me):

1 I'd say I'm more like a grown woman... however, if I have plans I would be willing to set aside some things to make time for a special guy.

2 A grown woman... I would never control a man and I would never want to be controlled.

3 In between... I wouldn't "check" a guy for not calling on me, nor would I not notice it. If I hadn't heard from him in a long time, I would check if everything was ok but I would not down him for it.

4 I would never use a man for sex for any reason

5 Grown woman... when I have sex, if I don't like it, I'm not going to say I do and continue on... I don't see the point

6 In between.... while I enjoy my alone time, sometimes it's nice to have someone there.

7 Grown woman... I truly seek out the good guys. Sure, the bad boy image is nice at first, but it is nothing for a good relationship.

8 I would say neither...

9 In between... I wouldn't say that I 'know' I'm pretty enough, but I don't worry about being beautiful to get a man. I won't dress sloppy, but a guy should like me for who I am.

10 Grown woman... being together is awesome, but everyone needs their space. some alone time or time with friends is necessary.

11 Grown woman... I think a man who will show his emotions is strong because he is man enough to show and admit that he does cry too. I'd support him through whatever it was.

12 Grown woman...

13 In between, more grown woman... I have been hurt by a few men, but I realize it was that man and do not make others pay for it. however, my experiences make it harder to trust people in general.

14 Grown woman... if I love a man but know I can't have him, the feelings may stay but I will move on and accept that he isn't mine.

15 Grown woman... I may not agree with all of the statements, but everyone has an opinion and much of it is true.
