I don't know whether or not I love this guy. He seems to know me better than anyone else I know yet he always does something that he knows gets on my nerves. I don't know whether or not to get back together with him or to wait until I know for sure that I love him and maybe lose him forever.

When you love someone you don't have to ask if you love them. Don't talk yourself into love, you'll know when it's real.

You dont love him, if you and he were already broken up and at this point you dont know if you love him or not then you dont. If you can live with continuously dating someone you dont love then thats a different story but if it is a requirement, that you love the person you date then you have a big problem.
The biggest test of this is being apart. When you're with someone and dont know if you love them and when they've gone or you break up and you miss them and cant stop thinking about them then it is quite possible you loved that person.
Merely knowing you better than anyone else isnt good enough. I've been at that level with many different girls. They knew me and I knew them but relationship wise it would have never worked. We had nothing going for us sexually or mentally. We were really just wasting time. It is also very difficult for males and females to have a relationship that isnt based on sex if there ever was or is some type of sexual attraction. It will always create an alterior motive.

well it is a feeling inside of you that you know. that you would do anything for that person, to help them and put yourself in peril to protect them. There are 2 types of love though conditional and unconditional, the former is when you care about some one and love them as long as they do the same to you are what you want them to do kinda like a junkie loves his dealer as long as he is supplying him, the latter is when no matter what a person does you still love them, and would do anything, most marriages that survive and are productive good healthy marriages are based on unconditional love kinda like the way a mother loves her child what ever that child does to hurt her she will always love her child. to know that you are in love you must search in your soul and be completely honest w/yourself, asking would i do anything for this person? also asking yourself no matter what this person does from kill someone to sleep with my best friend would i still love them? because relationships go through hard times and the only way to know it will last is if both parties have complete unconditional love for one another. otherwise it is just conditional love which is basically like an two way infatuation.

Usually when you know you love someone it comes from instinct like when you know it is right and it feels right, You do what you have to do especially what makes you happy but don't do anything until you are sure that is what you want to do otherwise then you will never be sure or sure of yourself.

Didn't you get the letter? The rules are that when you fall in love with someone the government sends you a letter to let you know. Otherwise how could you tell?
Seriously - no one can tell you if you love someone. You have to figure it out on your own.
