I guy I work with insists that, "chicks dig canoes." I don't claim to be an expert on what women want, but I disagree with his assertion. I was hopeing that this venue would settle this debate. Thank you for your honest imput.

I don't know if I'm being naive or not, but canoes like kayaks, boats? I couldn't care less if a guy owns one... that's not really one of my criteria for going out with a guy, ya know? Actually, if a guy owns one, I probably wouldn't know for a long time or care at all.
