Tackle it from within.

Take care of it on the outside as best you can.

Then, I am not assuming, cut out any sources of unhealthy oils, drink a ton of water, eat cleanly, and make sure your hair does not brush your face. My daughter found that on top of this, every bath because hers spread over chest and back, that the AVEENO oatmeal soap was a marvel. Doctor recommended that.

It worked, we were trying to avoid meds.

To give you hope.. smile, she is now 21 and has a flawless porcelin complexion.

Good luck.

Go to www.formor.com/87153 put mouse over product then body then amino Therapy then multi active face cream
then read and order .. it is made from real plant amino's. Put this on your face every 20 minutes 3 times and then once in morning and once in evening you will see a difference after the first 3 applications and it just gets better from there. Bonus... it will stop you from breaking out as well. Do NOT use soap on your face. If you can afford it they also sell a face wash. I have studied nutrition almost 30 years, this is by far the best out there in my opinion .. it nourishes your skin and is good for it versas some of the other things out there that do more harm than good, hence your dry skin.
Good luck with it.

May sound weird, but if you have a shower before bed. Then buy baby oil, like the shower gel for skin. The when your face is still wet from the shower cover ur face in the baby gel. Sleep and when you wake up the gel will be gone, however your face will not be dry! Let me no how you get on. x

Use exfoliator and moisturize your whole body at least twice a day, especially when you get out of the shower because with your pores open after the hot water your skin will absorb more moisture. St. Ives 24 hour moisturizer and Curel are the best I have found. For scented lotion I like EO, you can get that at whole foods.

Aloe vera juice should be applied to the skin externally or taken in capsule form. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at link provided.

You might try using a lotion called "curel". It isn't greasy at all and sucks right into your skin. I haven't found anything better so far!
Good luck :]
