a couple of times a year, they just look scruffy for a while and the look neat, they don't loose all of their feather or anything.

mine do it 2 times a year, spring and fall, if ya get a spray bottle, fill it with like warm water and spray them once a week, they'll just love it and it makes the whole process a lot less messy!

Twice a year but will lose and replace odd feathers all year round.
