I ended up with 2 dresses(long story) and now can't decide between them.
FWIW, I'm an older bride and this style of dress looks best on me and my body shape. Also, I'm actually having 2 weddings(one will be a renewal) because my fiance is in Australia and I'm in America. We are having ceremonies in both places as to include everyone in our special day, so I can always use them both.
I appreciate any advise on which you like better. Thanks

i'm gonna go look i will be back
the second dress is absolutely beautiful.
i didn't care so much for the first one.
you would almost have to have a body exactly like the model in the dress to look good in it.
i have a little belly, and i could see the scrunched look drawing attention to it.

so in my very own opinion, #2
congrats by the way

I would say try to find a store nearby that has those dresses. Take a friend or two, and a digital camera. When I was looking at dresses for my wedding, I had picked out several, and ended up going with a totally different one as none of the ones I had chosen looked right "in person." Also, you don't define "older," but I would go with the first one. It would hide any flaws you might have in your midsection, and it looks more mature than the second. Plus, you might want to check both dresses to make sure the trains gather, otherwise you'll spend the whole day worrying about someone stepping on your dress!

I like them both. And since you bought them both, wear them both! This way, you won't have to worry about having the dress cleaned in time for the second ceremony.

Also, and more importantly I think, wearing a new dress for the renewal will make the renewal feel more special, and not so much like a "do-over."

I think the first dress, the strapless one, is saucier. Wear that one for the wedding you want to look sexier at. The other one is beautiful and feminine, but not as sexy.

The first dress looks very unique and pretty. The second dress honestly looks like a prom dress with a train. I just don't think the second dress is unique enough for such a special day. Maybe you should use the second dress for the renewal.

I like the first better, I think its more fitting for an older bride, sophistcated and sexy.(like Sophia Loren) The 2nd to me looks too young and frilly, I really dont care for the strange ruffle in the middle of the skirt.

I tried on that same second one when I was looking at wedding dresses once. I like it. But I would probably wear them both.

My vote, #2

But if you have both dresses, wear one for one wedding and the other for the renewal. That way each ceremony will be unique in it's own way; including you.

I like the 1st one the best! It is gorgeous :) But remember you might be pulling it up & adjusting it all night since it is strapless. So if your going for comfort then the 2nd one is better. I hope this helps! Congratulations & Good Luck :)

They are both nice though I like the first one best - it's similar to my gown though mine doesn't have the gatherings down the middle. Great choices. Congrats and good luck.
