Please do not hurry, because you can cause some serious hair damage right now ... In a couple of weeks you can bleach your hair if you want to, just allow your scalp to heal and restore first.

Where abouts are you from? Dont do home kits if your head is irritating you now, that will make it 100 times worse, i am talking from experiance here and it will become so painful. The best thing to do is rest your scalp for a wek or two, use gentle shampoos and conditioners then go back to a proper salon like Headmasters or The Colour House, they are the best for corrections and use very gentle products. Good Luck with it but dont rush into anything yet, you may get the right colour but you will really damage your scalp!

I would try purple shampoo first if I were you. It's made by Clairol and is sold at Sally's Beauty Supply (and I'm sure other stores as well). It's in a purple bottle and it takes the brassyness out of light colored hair. I believe it's called Shimmer Lights. I always use this when I get highlights because I like the white look also and it never comes out that way at the salon. You should wash your hair with it and then lather it in again and leave it on for about 15 minutes. If you do this for a few days it should lighten it up.

Go BACK TO THE SALON. If you try to do this at home, not only will you really risk your hair falling out, but those irritated spots on your scalp will burn...add that to the fact that the yellow could turn green...!!! At night time put some "cholesterol" conditioner on your hair then wash out in the morning. This conditioner can be found at any local walmart in the ethnic hair care section.

I would go back to the salon. If you are tight on cash however, you can tone it at home. If your hair is gold then you will need a beige blond color to neutralize the gold. I would suggest toning your hair and then gradually going to the platinum blond that you are wanting, if you do to many processes to close then you will fry your hair, and once it is fried there is nothing that you can do but let it grow out. If you do tone it at home, use a semi permanent color, it is less harsh on hair.

I would go back to the hairdresser and make them do it again for nothing. I saw on a TV program once that if you have your hair died blinde and it goes yellow instead then the salon is a poor one. Its hard to get white yourself but definitely not yello anyone could do that. I would go to a salon that specializes in colour..

Go back to the salon and have them put a toner on it to take the yellow out. I would wait a couple weeks though.

i do no longer think of blondes like the thought-approximately having yellow hair! Hmmm, i do no longer ideas my hair shade being noted as brown tho! Brunnette basically sounds richer so does blonde. that's a self-love factor

really you should wait atleast 14 days to re dye your hair because your hair will get ruined, and the color might be off, and change and get wierd. you could try it by yourself, but it might not come out the way you want. i recomend finding a picture of the color of hair you want, and show it to a stylist, then see how your hair turns out and if it turns out not how you told them, and you brough the photo of the color you want, to prove they did it wrong, just to make sure they dont think your trying to gip them, they should redue it for you.
if you want to do if yourself, you might want to go into a beuaty suply store and ask someone who works there and show them a picture, they prob can find the right hair dye.
good luck!
