Why doesn't GratvoL ( and many others on here) choose his best answer?

Isn't that annoying, when people NEVER choose their best answer, and yet they come on here all the time.

you could have asked if you wanted best answer...

In all honesty some of my questions I prefer go up to vote and others I simply dont spend the time to select a best answer. I often regret not doing so, but hey.

I mean is this site about asking and answering questions or is it about getting as many points as you can?

Well if you mean that they don't choose a best answer to a question that they may have asked it's because they either forget about their questions that they asked or they don't feel that there is an answer acceptable to their liking to choose.

Sometimes I don't think any are good so I let majority vote. Other times I get busy and forget to go back and update. Is it really that big of a deal? I can think of more things in life that are more important than this. Like Jesus.

I don't know...it doesn't really bother me all that much when people don't choose a best answer...especially in this section. People in this section tend to choose whoever agrees with them the closest, no matter how intelligent or unintelligent the answer is. I don't really think about it.

I have so many different IDs, that sometimes I'm the only one that has answered my own question, and to vote for myself would be akin to incest.

sometimes all the answers suck horribly and none are worth picking as best.

I wouldn't worry about it....I can't see anything I've ever seen you write winning anyway.
