I believe that the world would end after the Great Tribulation mentioned in the book of Revelation.

Whether or not that will happen in my lifetime, I can not say, and niether can anyone else, because the Bible clearly states that nobody knows when the world is going to end except for God the Father (not even Jesus knows!). If you want to look that up its also in Revelation, although I can't remember the exact reference.

It's possible the world "as we know it" may end in our lifetime. It will certainly be gone one hundred years from now. This may be a good thing--the elimination or drastic decrease in disease, poverty and crime--or there may be a reversion to a less advanced civilization (at least for the majority).

If you mean as a result of some prophecy, my answer is no. Prophecies are vague enough to be adapted by the superstitious and/or the gullible to any situation and are fiction. Civilization may indeed go up in smoke as a result of human folly, but it won't be in fullfillment of an imaginary "vision" attributed to a (usually) imaginary prophet.

Actually it will never "end" in the sense that the Earth and all life on it will cease to exist. It will be cleansed again, but life will continue.
In our lifetime? Depends on your definition of "lifetime". Some folks don't intend to "die" but only transition. Change is coming sooner than you think though, much sooner.
Read the 2nd Chapter of Acts in the New Testament.

There is no way of knowing if the world will end in our lifetime. I would advise you to be ready for the end spiritually, but also to prepare for a full life expectancy through education, marriage, children, and retirement.

A lot of things point to what the Bible says will happen. It is quite possible that the Lord will return very soon (In our lifetime). No one knows the time or date but it could be today or next week or maybe twenty years from now. The question for you is.. Do you know him and does he know you?

Probably not MY lifetime (I'm only 20) but I doubt the Earth will last another 200-300 years at the rate we're going.

It's a safe bet that YOUR lifetime will end before the world does...of course if I'm wrong, no one will be around to call me on it!

All of the End Time prophesy that is in the Bible is being fulfilled at an alarming rate!! But don't worry. When you repent of your sins, and are Baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of those sins (Acts 2:38), you will recieve the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. This will lead you in all truth and will help you overcome sinful habits!!

No, but I can tell you how.

In about 5 billion years the Sun will run out of fuel. When this happens the core will collapse and the outer layer will be temporarily blown off and it will expand. This expansion will stop somewhere around the orbit of the Earth. Rather or not it engulfs the Earth, it will certainly be the end of the Earth as we know it.

I don't think we are going to be able to see the end f the world, but by 2050 I believe many humans and other species are going to be dead because of the high temperature.
That's going to the beginning of the end of the world. Although it will take lots of years to get everyone dead.
