There are many exercises you can use to exercise your abdominal obliques. Basically all you need to do is any exercise you would typically do for your abs, but isolate your obliques by turning your upper body in either direction. Crunches, Sit-ups, Knee or Leg raises all work in this manner.

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Hold a weight in your right hand. Let it hang by your side and lean to your right side toward the floor and come back up to starting position. Do 30, then do left side. You should feel that in the morning.

YES! i have been doing a sideways situp. It works VERY well, and VERY quick.
This is what you have to do.
-Lay down in a situp ready position.
-Put your hands under your neck/head, holding it not too tight, not too loose.. Just so you feel comfortable.
-Put your elbows out [ of course]
-Bring your right elbow to your left knee, and hold for a second or two.
-Bring your left elbow to your right knee, and hold for a second or two.
[do this as often as needed]
I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS!

set a bar on your shoulders find a litte bit of space and rotate your mid-section.
See if that doesn't create the burn you want.
