My daughter ( 50 ) was told that she would never be able to get prescrition glasses made because she has had Keratinitis of the eyes twice. What is Keratinitis ?????? Has anyone ever heard of this?????? It sounds like an infection--is it? She was doing " drugs " much of her life-could this condition be caused by that? she has been clean for two years now but it left her with advanced aging and much damage to her teeth .

Try googling "keratitis" without the extra syllable. There's no reason she couldn't get glasses, but if her cornea's badly scarred they may be of limited utility.
