Could you take the ime to look at the potty training question on my profile and answer it?
I posted it 3 times but it wouldn't show, and I didn't get a violation or anything. I don't know what happened.

my daughter is the same she is nearly two now and whenever we are home she uses the potty, she only needs a nappy when we go out. i think your daughter sounds like she is ready for training. try introducing it into her daily routine a bit more, ie before she gets dreesed or while she's watcing her favourite program she'll soon learn what it's for, and make sure you praise her all the time, just be prepared for accidents

I would just pop a pair of knickers on her when you are in the house, expect accidents, they will happen, but as soon as she has had a few accidents she will soon get the hang of it.
When she wets show her the puddle, tell her 'pee goes in the potty' and just take it from there. Some people will tell you it is too young, but I think it is the perfect age, as soon as they are able to understand simple commands, then I think it is time to start introducing knickers.
My youngest is 18 months and has just mastered the art of using the toilet for pee and poop, she is able to ask, and it isn't a mad rush as she can hold on to it for a wee while.
It took about a week of letting her have knickers every afternoon, and we have been nappy free for about a fortnight now.
One thing I would say though, is that once she is able to tell you and you have had a few days success in the house, do not put nappies back on her, it is totally confusing for them.
Just make sure when you go out you have a couple pairs of trousers and knickers with you. We haven't had any accidents yet, but I am sure they will happen.
Good luck.

i think you should maybe try her on the potty if she is showing an interest, but my oldest child we started to train at 18 months and it took ages for him to train my second we left and he decided one day that he wasnt wearing nappies anymore and wanted to use the toilet and he has never wet or poo'd himself but apparently boys are later trainers than girls so maybe she is ready?

It sounds weird but let her watch you go potty then just tell her that's what big kids do. Encourage her and give her lots of praise when she does good.
