When you lose weight, your fat cells are converted into sugar(which can be converted into fat). The sugar is then burned off by your respiration (your breathing). When the sugar is burned you then exhale the bunt sugar as carbon dioxide. So physically the fat (now burnt carbon sugar) goes into the air.

Hope this helps.

When you lose weight your body takes energy from fat... that is, it convertis it into glucose and then uses it as energy. When you have fat it means your body has been storing energy... and when you workout a lot and burn fat, it uses it.

Fat cells are storage cells. The more stuff you have to store, the bigger they get, and the more are produced. When you burn the fat, it empties those storage cells. Think of lots of little plastic baggies.
