Truth is subjective and what the truth is one person won't be the same for another. In other words, the "truth about God" thing likely wouldn't work for many people. If you're gonna explain it anyway, make sure you don't do so in a hateful and violent way as that would likely draw people away from it.

First, that attitude you have of actually wanting to spread the truth is a great start!
Second, to actually answer the question, I would say that God calls everyone in the church to spread the news in different ways. For me, He has tasked me with building very very strong friendships, and then when one of my friends has a faith issue (or any other issue, for that matter) they trust me enough to come to me, and I can show them a Godly solution. For other people, they are called into more formal forms of witnessing, such as becoming a pastor or missionary. Others are called to witness through public service, like helping at homeless shelters.
So just pray and ask God how you can best spread his Gospel to other people. He will show you what to do.
God Bless

Sometimes people who do not believe need to see the difference that Christ has made in our lives- I know we continually have to share the truth of God from His Word- but if people do not see a difference in us, why would they want to believe.

The "truth" about anything is easy to teach, if there is a truth. But if your criteria for something being true is exclusively that you believe it to be so, then you're not talking about "truth," you're talking about dogma.
So the answer is: First, learn about it yourself.

By applying Gods word in our lives and actively preach his word (mt 28:19,20) Because it is God's will that ALL mankind be saved we will find those who are tired of the hypocrisy of churches, who's questions have not been answered (why do we grow old and die? What is my purpose in life? How can I find the true religion?) We can help them by using God's Word, the Bible to answer such questions. But in order to help others, we must have an accurate understanding of the Bible ourselves and then we can confidently help others

Better knowledge of the bible. Bible training classes.
Home bible studies.
Getting out and doing what Jesus taught us to do, teach the truth from the ****other persons**** bible.
(They will reread what you show them (IN their bible) when you leave) Most want to disprove what you said and will go back to it, and often will show their preacher)
If you always read from your own bible, you won't leave it.
But if you can get a person to get his, her own bible, they won't discard that.
Make up some book marks with the scriptures on it to leave in their bibles where you read from. Get them to do the reading if you can. But above all, get the book marks placed. Women love pretty things and will often keep them.
