I lost money by missing an appointment

yes - if they have not given you anything yet- if you already received a voucher ( dollars off or free ticket ) thats binding and you have accepted that as compensation and they are no longer liable. If you have not received anything - you would need to write customer service - along with your record locator or ticket number and explain the situation to them and ask for compensation. You can only due this if it was mechanical - and not weather

read your small print. they should a arrange to transfer your flight. contact abta whi i think will give you the correct rules.
