Fate is not something which can be prooved of disprooved. We can observe an ant walking on the ground. We know it's going to die. Is that fate? We don't know HOW it's going to die, so how can it be fated to die if we don't know how? There are infinite possibilities, and as such, only really complex physics has any good way of predicting the chances of a certain death for said ant. The equations are Quantum Mechanics. So, if you believe in fate, then you also believe in multiple universes where each has a different fate. If you don't, well then, you don't.

Yes absolutely as long as you are a willing participant. Participant meaning you are open to things coming into your life. You don't try to force things and go against what nature is prodding you to do. I can see clearly how certain events and people have built on one another to lead up to a certain time in my life. I call this fate. I can also look back in the past and see times where I wasn't allowing things to happen naturally...those are the times that I didn't allow fate to take it's course and I ended up in a mess.

I used to say no, that what happens to you depends on your actions before it and sometimes it just happens, but now I don't know. After I lost a person I really cared for, I found something that I indirectly associated with this person, that I collect and that are kind of rare - everyday for two weeks, without fail. That cannot be a coincidence. I do admit though that the second week I started looking for it, but the first week it really just appeared to me in such a way that I couldn't miss it. Also all during the first month, even after the first week, whenever I revisted the last place we last met, I found another one. It was eerie. I can't explain it any other way but some sort of fate.

I believe that part of your fate is decided for you (parents, siblings) and maybe an important friend or two, but for the most part people make their own decisions...but I'll admit that some things are odd coincidences.

Yes because if someone hadn't touched your life in a certain way, things could be completely different.

No. But there are events in my life that have strongly dictated where I ended up.
