You need to trust your gut instinct on this one and you could still be wrong. Talk to your bff and find out the circumstances of this supposed asking out, try to get as many specifics (like when, where, what time, on phone or in person, what day, what each was wearing) as possible (that way you will be able to tell if she's making it up or not), ask if anyone else was around when this took place (did anyone else hear it, any witnesses). Then talk to your boyfriend and find out if he was anywhere near her that day, time, etc. 6th grade is alittle young for actually romantic relationships so if this one falls apart, don't worry about it too much. And if this bff turns out to be just trying to break you guys up, get a new bff. If this relationship falls apart, get a bunch of friends together (boys and girls) and go bowling or swimming or to an athletic club to play volleyball. You will have a great time with a bunch of friends and there won't be a lot of pressure to pair off as couples. Good luck and God Bless.

Will if she is your bff and you know that she would not lie to you she could be telling the truth but if you know you cant trust her than don't but remember bfs are easy to come by but a bff is not and is for life so think about it who is Worth more to you

6th grade is too young to tie your self down to one boy friend. I would egnore the answer of both of them and go on with my life.
Knowing as I get older I am going to meet another guy and have a real loving relationship

You should believe your friend! Why would she lie? Isn't she your friend? I had to tell my cousin that her boyfriend hit on me once. She later married him. He cheats on her all the time. At least she knows that i told her the truth. Maybe your friend is helping you out in the long run.

neither, check it out for yourself, put them in one room, and see how they are talking to each other, looking at each other, and then decide.
