I'm 22 male and always felt different due to my uncircumcised status. Should I have one done now? How's it done?

Its more painful now if u have it done.. but if ur not comfortable talk to ur doctor about it... to me personally it doesn't matter if a man is circumcised as long as its clean!!!!

I'm circumcised and it was done when I was a baby. I'm 26. I didn't get a choice. I've got 2 boys of my own now and refused to have them circumcised. I did my research and found virtually no health benefits to getting a circumcision. The potential complications of the procedure outway the so called health benefits of having it done, something antiboitics can cure in a few days anyway.
You are concerned with the cosmetic results of a circumcision. It's not your fault that society has made you feel weird. You are not weird, you are normal. You've got something that a lot of guys wish they had if they did the research. You'll be losing several nerve connections and probably suffer from reduced sensitivity if you have it done. Reduced Sensitivity! I was mutulated as a baby and have no idea what I'm missing out on. You on the other hand will have the knowledge of what it was like before you went under the knife. I personally wouldn't do it if I had a choice of my own. Be proud of your manhood and being whole, and anybody who tries to bring you down on that is scared of a real man. Don't do it. Public opinion is shifting.

Never done it, not planning to do it, and will never do it.

I am not letting anybody with a knife or scissors come near me. Hell no! besides, I have no extra skin there at all, it is just perfect as it is and I am very happy the way I am.

All the girls I have been with are also very happy and never refused to give me oral or anything. I’m married now, and my Wife is more than happy with my “tool” as it is too.

I do not agree with circumcision nor I plan to do that to my kids ever. I respect other’s religions, but do not tell me what to do with myself or my kids.

But if you want to go ahead and have a nasty cut, be my guest. I understand also that sometimes is better for hygiene reasons (still I don’t understand why can’t the person just be clean), but if that is the case, I would go to a doctor to do a surgical procedure.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

First of all - it is very obvious that you aren't Jewish...

Absolutely!!!!!!!! It's healthier and more sensitive not to mention that it makes girls feel safer. But if you're going to do it......have it done with a pair of pinking shears. The thrill you give the girls will make you the talk of the town!!

There is no difference in sexual function, of course, and I would expect the recovery to be pretty painful.... there is no advantage as long as you take extra care washing... when erect, with the foreskin pulled back, they all look pretty much the same !!!

Just because you felt "different"? That's no reason to have surgery. Unless you're converting to Judaism, I would advise against it.
