Every cat is unique in their own way. :) Mine drinks water with his paw from a glass (very rarely will he drink out of a bowl). He's also a little on the moody side, where he will want to sit on your lap, but not be touched. :)

My 5 month old kitty is the same way. One day I was sick to my stomach and he followed me around everywhere. If he couldn't see me, he would meow until he did, then come by me and start purring. He also sticks his paw in his water bowl a few times before he actually starts drinking the water. My 3 month old kitty runs around the house with a silver toy in his mouth. He will hiss, meow, and growl with it just sittin in his mouth. When it falls out, he just puts it right back in with his front paws. He will even hop 3-4 times while he's playing with the toy. It's too cute.

ALL kitties are neat and unique....I currently have two...One of them is deaf and the most beautiful white I have ever seem, he can also talk really, really LOUD!!!..And that can be pretty annoying.....My other cat is also while but with a lot of orange tabby in him....He started changing to orange about a year after we had him....He is *cute* and looks so sweet and innocent all the time even though we know he is very onery!...lol...He will attack your feet when you sleep, or when your coming up the stairs, he likes to sleep under the covers but can't really be trusted for too long!....And he is a maniac over cat nip!....
My kitty who dies use to lay on my back while I slept or lay beside me asleep on the pillow with his body under the covers just like a little person....He would talk to me every morning on the way to the food bowl and insisted on fresh food each day....And I swear he would get mad at me sometimes and quit talking to me (the silent treatment!)...lol...I miss him alot....Thanks for allowing me to think about him for a minute....ss

My cat Hobbes loves to play this little game with me when I'm leaving for work every morning. We live in an apartment complex a few floors up. Every day at 5:40am when I open our door to leave she zooms past me, (just when I thought she wasn't paying attention and I could possibly sneak out without being noticed). She darts down the hallway with her collar tags jingling and her happy tail standing straight up. I try to catch up to pick her up, but if I'm too far behind her she'll stop and look back, just to make sure I'm still playing our morning game of Chase the Kitty. Sometimes it even looks like she's laughing at me! I eventually scoop her up and she just purrs like crazy as I carry her back home.
She never tries to get out into the hall on weekends or if I'm just going out to the store or something. She's pretty smart, and has a good sense of humor!

If our cats have been alone all day (which they are most days since we work), they will great us at the door. The one who likes to be picked up (less than a year old with long black fur and big yellow eyes) insists on being picked up by rearing up on my legs again and again and begging until I pick him up. He'll then put his front paws around my neck and rub his face and nose against mine. In the mornings, he'll throw himself down on his back in front of and under my feet as I walk to get attention and petting.
The other kitty's more reserved (and much older), but loves to lay in my lap and snooze when I sit down in front of the tv. If he sees me get the milk jug out, he'll start begging for a taste.

What a fun question! I have one kitty, his name is Bug, he's about 2 years old and ALL white, I'm talking SNOW white with huge ocean blue eyes, he is the most beautiful baby! He has the funniest little personality...If my husband is standing above him and he's on the floor my husband will turn his chin up towards the sky while still looking at Bug and he'll just yow and yow every single time. It's like this little game they play back and forth forever! He's also like a little person, as soon as we're ready for bed we just tell him "C'mon Bug, time for bed." and he'll run as fast he can to the bed and beat us in there just waiting for us. Then when we climb in he's ALL over your face purring and nuzzling and head butting his head into yours. He'll get so excited and so lovey that he'll start slobbering and when he rubs his face on yours you get spit all over, it's so funny.

I have a 5 yr old that won't go to anyone but me, but not when anyone is around. It's wierd...she's been like that since she was born. Her mother (deceased) used to use her paw to drink instead of lapping it out of the bowl. Ironically, she had the same heart condition that my dad had. Unfortunately, she didn't survive. She had somehow gotten trained to attack anyone that she thought was threatening me. She scratched my mom pretty bad one time. I miss her. :-(

How about this... our kitty walks on a leash, and LOVES riding on our boat...
I've seen cats before that would do one or the other, but not both...

I have two that are unique. They are both Tuxedos. One of them likes to sit on my shoulder like a baby and cuddle and chew underneath my hair, the other one likes to sit next to me and talk to me. He even swats at me when I yell across the room to get my kids attention. He definitely hates it when I raise my voice to the point of swatting me.
