Have to? Not necessarily in a few exceptional situations.

Should you? absolutely. However, you must go to a church that can direct you to heaven. Not all Churches do that even though they say they do.

Why is Church necessary? For the same reason that it is necessary to go to school. Church is the place where we associate with others who are (hopefully) working towards Eternal Life. It is there that we rejuvenate our spirit. That we learn to become more Christ-like.

If you did not go to school, you could not become educated in the things required to make a living. School is for maintaining that part of yourself. Church is for maintaining the spiritual part of yourself. When we stop going to church, we are at greater risk of losing our faith and becoming a lost sole.

The real trick to find the church that can lead us to Heaven. This can be quite a process. It should involve lots of prayer and requesting guidance from the Lord. He knows the way that leads to heaven. He wants all of us to go there. He will show all who are truly humble and sincere the pathway to follow.

Of course not. As long as you understand that God sent his only son to die to forgive all of your sins. And you believe he will come someday and take all of the Christian's to Heaven. As you grow closer to the time in which you will go to Heaven, you may want to read your Bible more but the Bible never says to go to Church. In the 10 commandements, it says you have to set aside a day for worshipping the Lord your God but you can do it at home and you can pray and read the Bible so I don't think you have to go to Church to get into Heaven.

Going to church is a good thing, but you don't have to go to church to get to Heaven. You do however have to accept Jesus as your Lord (the head leader, the one that calls all the shots) and Savior (he saves you from your sins).
Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9 these are verses that help you with your decision. Becoming a true Christian isn't fire insurance, as I've heard it called. Christianity in its true form is a lifestyle, filled with daily choices. You don't have to be perfect to follow Jesus, you just have to try to do what he asks you to do. I hope this helps, it's your choice as to whether you accept him or not. Good luck and God bless! Only faith in Jesus can get you to Heaven, I'm not trying to be close minded, that's what I believe is the truth.

No. People that are religious will be saved and so will people that are not. People from all kinds of religions will be saved, and people from all kinds of religion won't be.

Few people will make it to heaven even from the church because while many will call on Him and prophecy in His name, give up a lot of things, few actually put their faith in Him with all their heart, mind and soul and try their best to live for Him.

What is important is the man you are Monday through Saturday. There are many who have this false idea that going to church on Sunday will save them, but it won't.

Your religion, your faith is the way you live. God bless.

Jesus said that if you go to Church you go to Hell...

Quite frankly I dont know why people have not figured that out yet...

He was very specific - you pray in private not in congregations, and the only way into heaven is to love everyone unconditionally - something which the Church certainly does not teach with it telling people how they should hate and revile Jews and Gays and telling people to commit acts of extreme violence on other people by forcing their religious views on them.

no but if you want to be a mature christian and do something for God then yeah you need to go to church...our Pastor teaches us the 5 habbits that lead to spritual maturity and they are:

1. Cooporate Worship (church)
2. Daily Time with God (spend time reading the bible and praying)
3. Fellowship with other believers (getting involved in small groups)
4. Giving (tithes and offering)
5. and getting involoved in ministry

Your ticket to heaven was paid for when Christ died and took on the weight of your sins. All you gotta do to go to heaven is take that ticket. Church is not a neccesity, although I will say that it is definitely helpful to go to church and be around fellow Christians who can help strengthen you on your walk with Christ.

If you're Catholic, Mass every Sunday and on designated Holy Days is required.

If you're not Catholic, then the answer depends on your particular denomination's requirements.

The bottom line is, Jesus founded a church so his people could come together to worship him, and to learn more about him. If he wanted us to go it alone, he wouldn't have bothered to found an organization.

If we fail to honor God's wishes in that respect, then it's quite likely that we'll come up short in other areas as well, never reaching our true potential as Christians.

So technically, it may be possible to get to heaven without going to church, but it's not likely.

personally, no. I believe that God sees us & knows our intentions on a daily basis. I'm sure there are a few people that go to church or have gone to church who aren't going to heaven.
