You could put a bib or other baby item on his pillow or somewhere else he will see it for sure.

Well, it was early Christmas morning (around 2 a.m.) when I took the hpt and it was positive. I wiped it off with hand sanitizer and wrapped it in Christmas paper, placed it under the tree with my husbands name on it along with the children's gifts. When the family go up to open gifts, my husband saw his "present" and looked at it weird -because it was shaped like an ink pen- and slowly opened it as if he was saying, "my wife has lost her mind". After opening it he was a bit confused until he looked closely and saw a (+) sign. He dropped it and kept repeating, with a smile on his face, "I know what that is. I know what that is". This was number 4 for us. He is now 5 months old.

Cutest thing ever, I just read on another website. Put a hamburger bun in the oven. When he gets home tell him that it's making a funny noise when you open it and then turn it on (so he doesn't cook the bun) and see how long it takes him to figure out why the bun is just sitting there and why you are smirking like a dork. Totally cute.

Wake him up in the middle of the night and urgently tell him that your water broke and its time to go to the hospital. When he argues that your not even pregnant, you say some thing like "well, about that..." or "well, since you brought it up" or "I am just trying to give you a few months practice before the real thing"

I would make dinner and include mashed potatoes, and give him a nice helping and make them half pink and half blue....he will look at them like what the heck and as my hubby did, after starring at them and lookin at me, he finally got it! ANother thing you can do is send him balloons at work that say congrats and get them to use a baby bottle or some kind of baby like weight!

Have your older child wear a t shirt that says "I am going to be a big sister/brother". I think that is a cute way to break the news.
