Appendicitis? Worth checking out....

Many women have ovarian cysts... This is not considered uncommon or dangerous. I personally have had a major pain in my lower left side since I was 16 (10) years and yet every Dr I've seen and Pap I've had has come up as NORMAL. It drives me nutz cause I constantly feel like I am losing my mind....

Just make sure you emphasize this to your Dr. I plan to do the same my next appt (in March)... Dr's tend not to always listen as good as they should.

What I often do to make sure my Dr is "All ears" when I walk in the room is to (Type) up my own little symptom/ complaint list that I want addressed. I provide a copy to the Dr/Nurse to be placed in my OFFICIAL record - to me, this sparks a little additional concern from the Dr. Especially when it is officially documented and (nowadays) malpractice insurance can be quite expensive.

Just remember - you are the patient (paying person) and you are paying for a service. Don't let ANYONE short change you.......
I would have it checked out just for safety sake.

Good Luck on your impending "Conception"...
Bet you it will be a girl...

Barring complications like a tubal pregnancy -
Pain can be referred from places other than the head. This deals with headaches but the principle works for all kinds of pain.
Muscles get knots called trigger points. These make the muscles tight causing them to press on nerves and other thing.
#1 The first thing is to take a couple swigs of molasses or eat a couple of bananas. They contain magnisium and potassium both of which muscles need.
#2 WATER she should be drinking 1/2 gallon minimum. The head of neurology at UCDavis likens a body running low on water to a car running low on oil (the engine can seize).
Get a good (deep tissue) massage (to loosen the trigger points) on the back, shoulders and neck. Make sure to press up at the base of the skull where it meets the spine.
You rub or lightly scratch everywhere on your head. You will hit spots that are tender these are trigger points. The idea is to rub across them 6-12 times per session up to six times per day until they go away.
For more information on trigger points read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

I agree. See a doctor. I don't think it's an appendix, because that's usually on the right sight of the abdomen. But it could also be an ectopic pregnancy (since you said that you're trying to have a baby). So see a doctor.

the lower left side of your abdomen contains: an ovary, bladder, part of the uterus, and colon.
that said, you could have constipation, gas, a bladder infection, ovulation, or pregnancy. with so many options, you will need to visit your family doctor or urgent care for a urine and pregnancy test. there is a possibility that you will need further testing such as bloodwork, an x-ray, ultrasound, and CT scan.
start with a pregnancy test from the drugstore. if it is negative, go to the urgent care. if it is positive, make an appointment with an OB.

You may have to go to the bathroom.

Sorry for the sarcasm; see a physician.
