haha i have the lovehandle problem too. what's working for me is crunches. they work all of the abs. do 10 reps of 10. (meaning ten sets of ten of them) every night total.
2 reps of 10- normal crunches
2 reps of 10- crunches where you put your hands behind your head as you would do normally and then make your right elbow lean towards your left knee. (side crunches, but you are laying flat on the ground)
2 reps of ten- same thing except left elbow to right knee (remember you are not touching the knee to the elbow, just crunches)
2 reps of 10-normal crunches again.

raising legs so that your knees are a 90 angle and calves parallell to the ground, do a crunch, keep your shoulders off the ground, raise the hips off the ground so you are in a horizontal crouching position and then slowly and controlled lower both the hips and shoulders. repeat 20 times.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Always have vegetables on give. Saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic. Add some red pepper or perhaps turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion-sized containers to the fridge.

if you have belly flab i wouldnt bother with the likes of sit ups just yet as they develop the muscles underneath but wont make you lose the fat, id do cardio such as dance to lose the fat and then sit ups etc to help tone the stomach later.

good luck

ps a good dance workout dvd if your gym shy is the ministry of sound range

Distracted dining can get you in trouble. Avoid eating when in front of a television or in a movie theater, as you're bound to eat more calories.

Are your dishes too big? A healthy dinner should fit on a 9-inch plate. You may see that kid-sized plates are more appropriately sized to feed an adult!
