me planning to get a dvd writer ..which brand is te best.? heard that liteon s okay, but i have no service providers n my locality..what about other bands.? what all we should look[features] for a dvd writer ?thanks..!!

First of all, go for a dual layer writer only. And the best one is from Sony undoubtedly. Next comes Samsung and then LG. Before buying, check if it can support all types of disc formats,i.e dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd-r+dl and dvd-rw+dl

like a dvd recorder? I have a magnavox and its okay, i'd go all out if your gonna spend the money.
