There are many many men in this world. Some would be even way better than him. If he's going off to war, to trespass a weak country with lots of oil, causing enormous havoc, because Bush says so, you should dump him because he has horrible morals. Place some free personal ads, many of them, and get on with your life.

He's doing something to better himself. I think you should do the same. I'm sure you both love each other very much. Relationships work better when both parties have something to offer to the relationship. So my answer is yes you should wait for him if you really love and care for him. That will prove things to him that words never can. Wait for and you two will grow stronger.

OH MY FRIGGIN GAWD.......

He is going to WAR and will NEED to know that you are here waiting for him. If you LOVE him wait till he gets back. Write him a letter and send him an email EVERY DAY. Even though he may not get them asap, he will get them and know that you thought of him every day.

Do your school and drop out of the socail world until he comes back.

tell him it's off!!!

and if..only if. you are not involved when he returns then..maybe just maybe.. you can see if there is still a spark...maybe!

remember the war will change him and warp his entire perception of life.. and not for the better!!!!! he may have severe mental problems and only want you for sex!.. be very very careful with this one.. I say end it for your own sanity and happiness... a year is only 365 day..big deal.. I have dated people for over 5 years and ... moved on.. when it was not good anymore... it's just a fact of life..
wish him well and tell him it's not fair to you and your life here...

and end it!

If you love him, then why are you even asking this question? You work on your schooling, support him, send him packages, letters, e-mails, etc. He's going to have a very difficult time adjusting without having to worry about you. He needs to know that you're there for him. Good luck.

A lot of people find it extremely difficult to wait for someone like that.
If you decide to wait for him, be sure. There's nothing worse than thinking you're coming home to someone only to find out that they have moved on.
If you think your relationship is strong enough and worth the wait, then yes, wait for him to return.
If not, let him know before he leaves.

wait for him. it'll be hard and you'll face alot of anxiety with him being off at war. but it would be amazing for him to come home and find that you're there. if you love him at least take a shot at doing this. hopefully he'll come back sooner than later.
