my boyfiend who i love dearly is going off to war in a month and i have been with him for over a year and well my question is what should i do? wait for him and work on my schooling tell his return, or dont even though i love him.

It depends on how old you both are and how strong the relationship is. A year is a long time. Your boyfriend will be going through alot while he is gone. Many issues will come up: Is he being faithful? Is she being faithful? Why hasn't she written to me yet? Why doesn't he call? Why does he sound strange on the phone? Does that mean he has changed his mind? You need to sit down and talk to each other about it. I know this first hand because I have spent the last year in Iraq. I miss my fiance very much and there have been times that the stress here created problems for us. The best advise I can give you is to be patient with him and don't put too much pressure on him while he is gone. He needs to be sensitive to your needs as well. Best of Luck to you both. thats all can do. as well as cry and pray for his safe return. dont leave him or else it might just kill him in the war.
