Creatine helps you gain muscle mass. One of the best benefits I have had with it is that it gives me a lot of energy during my workout, so I really get a lot accomplished.

O, and you dont have to "wait a few years." Get the creatine today and start working out today. I use SizeOn from GNC, and have gotten good results. Do this workout:

Also, a good book is "The Testosterone Advantage Plan," by Lou Schuler. Good luck - get to the gym NOW.

I started working out a few years ago for the first time and I wanted something to help me build muscle. I took creatine and noticed results a lot quicker than I would have if I hadn't used anything. I had more enrgy (without feeling wired) and was able to lift heavier weight. However, don't take it if you're not going to work out. You'll gain the type of weight you don't want. I also made sure I drank protein shakes after working out. That helps rebuild your muscles quicker. I started noticing differences within a month or two. You've got to stick with it though. Good luck.

Creatine is an amino acid that supplies energy to your muscles. If you are planning to hit the weights hard I would suggest creatine and protein supplements and concentrate on core exercises that work more than 1 muscle group like bench press, squats, power cleans, military press. Lift to failure with each set. Don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row, alternate and get 3 minutes of rest between sets.

How about trying a solid, all-around lifting routine for a couple of years before you start wasting your money on supplement?

You're talking about a fairly significant change in your body. That is going to take a lot of dedication and several hours a week of hard work in the gym. Not several hours in the gym taking up space, several hours of hard work.

Talking about creatine before you've done your first circuit is putting the cart before the horse.

n the human body, creatine is synthesized mainly in the liver by the use of parts from three different amino acids - arginine, glycine, and methionine. 95% of it is later stored in the skeletal muscles, with the rest in the brain, heart, and testes.Creatine helps to supply energy to muscle cells. In humans, typically half of stored creatine originates from food (mainly from meat and fish) but you can still survive with out it since the liver produces enough of it.Hospitals and doctors routinely measure blood creatinine levels to determine kidney function. Creatine is broken down to creatinine, which is eliminated through the kidneys; if kidney function is impaired, creatinine levels will rise. hope this helps
