I have a microsoft LifeCam & windowsXP. I get reception from others, but nobody can see me. What have I done?

I have reinstalled the software. I can see myself on Cam and I can see the other person, but they can't see me. I have AIM, Yahoo * MSN instant msg.

try a different usb port and a usb 2.0 would be better
