coulda been.
Do you watch Full Metal Alchemist?
I learned a lot from that anime actually.
And turning water into wine really is not that unfeasable.
It's basic alchemy. and alchemy is a science.

Well, so in that case,
1.Jesus' mother lied to Jesus or someone told her a lie.
2. The servants filled these six huge waterpots with white wine (each held 20-30 gallons) right to the brim.
3. The writer (John) lied about it first being water
4. The writer lied about it being a miracle.
5. The disciples that were right with Jesus at the wedding believed the lie.
hmmmm....don't you think it is more plausible that it was first plain old water, like the bible says?
God bless

Oh ye of little faith.
Chip where have you been?
You question anything that the Bible says, because you do not believe. God can do anything- nothing is impossible with Him- remember? And He does not lie. Plus those who were with Jesus tasted it, and knew it was wine.
John 2:9
They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside

In verse 6 of chapter 2, it says "waterpots" and even when you look at the original greek, the word "Hudria" which is used is literally translated as "a vessel for holding water". Wine was usually not held in pots like water was.

LOL! thats hysterical. My thought is that he just cut his hand and said it was wine. Placebo affect. I mean we still see it in clinical trials, people taking certain medications report things that have nothing to do with the drug. The power of the mind.

Interesting, but unlikely that they had white wine at the time, also I believe he had them fill the vessels with water....

Everybody knows that hosts bring out the crappy watered down stuff at the end because everybody is too drunk to realize it.
That is all that happened in this story.
