The saying is beer before liqour will make you sicker, liqour before beer you're in the clear!

Does this mean wine should be consumed before beer or vice versa?

Yes, this is a saying. But, so is "step on a crack, break your mother's back". Neither one is exactly true.

Drink wine & beer when ever you want, just keep track of how much you are drinking.

Wine is NOT liquor, so even if that stupid saying were true, wine would't really have a place in it.

Beer before wine! (makes you feel fine.) Also, if you drink a dar beer (i.e. Guinness) you're probably not going to like the taste of the wine. Like with beer and wine, go from lighter in color to darker...the progression will be much better.

Don't confuse wine with liquor! They mean whisky, etc. Whisky and then a beer you can get away with, but mixing any wine and beer is a bad idea unless you enjoy to hurl in front of everyone. trust me, I know this one by heart!

Beer before wine, you'll be fine. Wine before beer, live in fear.

don't mix beer and wine unless you don't want it in about 15 minutes... get the drift?

Why mix the two? Stick with one and you won't have to remember anything.... Wine is better by itself anyway.

Beer before liquor gets you sick quicker, liquor before beer no need to fear. :) As for wine, it makes me sick no matter what, esp. combined with beer.

“Beer before wine, you’ll feel fine,’ wine before beer, you’ll feel queer”
