it doesn't say how many pixels with the 4x digital zoom--I don't think there is any, is that possible?

Hi! A 4x digital zoom is not good. You want an optical zoom for quality. Anything that lists having a megapixel on a cell phone is better than listing 0 megapixels, as the higher the megapixel, the better the image clairty. Good luck to you.

Yes. Because mega pixels..actually affect camera Picture quality..while digital zoom is a digital zoom effect..the same as you would get if you just took a picture, cropped, it and blew it up. Now if you were comparing a 1 mega pixel with 4x optical zoom to a 1.3 megapixel with 3x optical zoom..i'd consider the 1 megapixel..but then again..you know..with zoom you can always walk a little closer..with mega pixel..you get all that the camera can give you. Suggest the 1.3 mega pixel.

They are two different things, mega pixel refers to the quality of the picture it can take Which in this case is really low. You want @ least 4 mega pixel to have a good camera. The 4x zoom is referring to the amount the camera can bring what you are looking @ closer to you or magnifies it when you hit the zoom button.

with any digital camera zoom all you are doing is splaying the pixels and decreasing resolution, a normal 1 megapixel picture is ok, a 4x zoom will not look good

Those are two different things. 1.3MP is the resolution and 4x is the digital zoom. How many MP are in the 4x digital zoom? That basically means that you can take pictures from far away.

These are 2 different things. 1.3 is a good resolution and will be more useful compared to the zoom, though if u can get both ina cell phone, go for that

Go for the pixels! the higher the pixel rate of a camera the better!
