I could pray for guidance and probably will eventuall, right now I am praying for guidance in other matters.

I have been told that God wants you to do what you do best, that he will bring out the best in you and that you should do that.

But what if you are good at everything you try? I am not a natural at everything I try, but I become very good at anything that I want.

So how do I know which of the things I am good at is what he wants me to do?

I was put here to draw, it's the one thing that I've really had to fight to become good at, I can't remember a time when I didn't draw.
In School most of it came pretty easily to me, I was an honnor student even though I frequently skipped classes or drew instead of doing my work. My school didn't have very good art instruction though and I was always thirsty for more, I read books and struggled and studied, and now I'm in my 2nd year of animation school drawing no less then 60 hours a week.
What do you think about when you wake up in the morning? or when your trying to fall asleep at night? when your doing something that doesn't appeal to you what is it you'd rather be doing?,

Great Question- Me too and I still Have a hard time with that.

Firstly you are here to ultimately become a citizen of Heaven
To do that you must Know, Love and serve God. and love your Neighbour as yourself.
to do that you must be free from sin and if you fall go to confession and receive a knew infusion of Gods Love and Mercy

As far as your talents are concerned they are a gift from God and should be used as such in a charitable way.

Continue to pray for discernment of what it is He would have you do. Maybe it is a teacher to teach all the different things you are good at.

After much prayer and heart-searching. It may sound so cliche, but the only reason I know what I want to do with my life is because I pray about it and I'm inclined to follow that path.

Obviously God doesn't send us letters or emails telling us what to do, but if we are at peace with him and ourselves, then we can feel him pushing at our hearts.

As for you being good at everything, maybe there is something that you enjoy beyond all others. Even if you don't know what it is now, just pray about these matters and God will reveal himself.

That's what I believe, at least.

Good luck finding the answers to your questions!

Usually he wants you to live a perfectly normal faith filled life doing small things for the love of him. In this way especially he is made happy. People tend to become bored or upset because they can not do the big miracle things so they start backsliding in their Christianity. This is just Pride. Just do your work everyday for the love of him and this is what you are to do. If he wants you to do something special then it will be on that day's agenda and it will happen. You do not have to worry about what he wants you to do. He will handle it when the time comes but, just be open to comply.

If you ENJOY doing something and you are good at it, if you are already doing it because it is a natural part of you, put it to use for God. And do pray for guidance because he wants you to get going on it now.

Maybe you should try something that you're not interested in, that you know you won't be good at because you don't care if you are or not.
You'll learn more from your failings than you'll ever learn from your successes...

Don't waste your time waiting for an answer from god. Do what you love to do best. Your heart already knows the answer

You'd have to listen to your heart. I think, you were meant to do everything you're doing.
