Nasty little parasites that burrow under the skin.
They don't cause any problem themselves but their faeces causes an allergic reaction hence the itching.
They spread through direct contact and also through shared bedding.
Treatment has to be prescribed by a doctor and all clothing, bedding and towels need to be boil washed.

Scabies are little lice that hide in the skin. They make little burrows in the skin in hot and sweaty places especially under arm pits,in between fingers and other places like that. Its very minor but can be a lot of trouble getting rid of. You can usually pick things up like this from schools, colleges, work and even toilets. When you have scabies you have to ensure that everything is washed where the person has touched and been as this stops cross infection. They generally start in the hands and gradually spread all over, they are very hard to spot when you first get them but you will notice itching, and scratches rashes and spots in sweaty and private places.

Scabies is comparable to lice on the head or crabs on public areas. It just affects the skin instead. You can get it from sitting on something that was already infested with the mites or by other close contact. they are little mites that burrow into the skin and sometimes leave a small scab like trail, and they itch like crazy. you need to get a special cream to rid yourself of the pests and wash everything you have.

I got these when I was in middle school. Horrible is all I have got to say. Your whole body will itch like freakin crazy. They are body lice. They tell you not to scratch cause you will cause infection but terribly hard not to when your skin feels like it is crawling. I can't remember what my mom bought or got from the doctor to get rid of them though sorry!!
