I took a hpt and it was NEGITIVE but the line was very light, but the control line was dark. Has this happond to anyone else? if so what was the outcome?

The line should get darker the more pregnant you become. If I were you, I'd buy a 2 or 3 pack of tests, and take the tests every other day just to be sure. If you're still not satisfied, have your doctor do a blood test. Good luck!

Did you take the kind that the word negative pops up???? I took the one where the main line is always there and if you see another no matter how faint, its a positive..... If this is a line test, they say a line is a line! if its the kind that tells you then I would go get another and take it again! The tests at the dollar stores are rated just as good as the expensive ones, they measure the hcg levels at the same rate!

I too took a HPT once and the lines came out very light. So i went back and got another one and waited for the first morning pee and it happened to be positive. Even if a light posititve it just so happens it could be a real positive! I now have a son.

This has happened to me and I am pregnant. I'm sure you threw away the test but pull it out of the trash and look again. Did the line get darker? Mine were very dark after about an hour.

A line is a line! It could be faint because you tested too soon but either way - it sounds like you're preggers.

any line in the test area, no matter how light, is a positive. retest in a few weeks or get a blood test done.

that happened to me and it was positive .. it was so light my dh said he didnt see anythning there but i could and di said nope the line is there and i was right
