Is it really necesary that we need to have a Mobile phone with EDGE facility for accessing Internet . Does EDGE provide good speeds than conventional GPRS only facility where speeds are less ? Does Bluetooth facility is also required for getting good internet speed in a Mobile.? thanks..

Bluetooth has nothing to do with Internet access from a mobile. It's for connecting OTHER devices, such as handsfree device or a PDA, to the phone.

EDGE is a higher speed mobile data "network." If you're not in an area that provides it, you'll either drop down to a lower speed option or not be able to do data access.

Mobile web surfing isn't much helped with the high speed. However, audio and video pretty much require it.
