Sorry to see some people have been really insensitive on this subject, it takes all sorts to make the world go round.
I keep hearing about lemon juice so try that.
Also, take supplements of Zinc, Vitamin B and E every day (don't stop them even when the acne clears up)
Eat lots of fruit and veg
Drink loads and loads of water - as much as you can
Change pillow case every night
Tie hair back from face
Don't touch the spots at all
Dab some Germolone on them at night
Only put make up on when you really have to
If female - try the pill, some really help clear it up
Best of luck x

hiya i have the same problem. last weekend i started applying pure lemon juice all over my face after cleansing and my skin is clearer than it has been in years. it stings a little bit at first but it really works. i have tried toothpaste but found it didnt make any difference at all. good luck though, it's a lot more difficult to live with than people think. whatever you do, don't scrub at your face. i went through a bit of a bad patch, with depression etc and tried a nail buffer all over my face and the result was...a bloody face and couldnt bring myself to leave the house for a week and a half. try not to let it get you down though hun, it will get better.
Frankie or whatever your name is, what you have written is totally out of order and unnecessary. Acne can cause severe depression and small minded, arrogant people like you make that ten times worse. Rather than insulting people you don't even know, i'd suggest seeking psychiatric help as you clearly have some deep mental scarring which makes you feel the need to make others feel bad. Alternatively, take your own advice and seek help in the form of a razor blade or two.

Many times the main problem with acne is that you want to get rid of it quickly. Every treatment takes a minimum of month to show results. I advise use Retina A and watch the results.

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

Watch your diet. I notice that I get acne when I eat certain types of foods. Sweets, oily substances, etc. Try exercising to open up your pores and to get the dirt out of them. Don't touch your face. Wash your face several times a day with a gentle soap.

Hi Amy, I used to have it when I was younger and my doctor gave me antibiotics for it. They worked ok but when I finished the course a few of them came back. IO also tried a sunlamp which worked but I did burn myself a few times. It does age a girls skin more than a boys- Ultra-Violet rays that is so be careful if you use one. I don't think those tanning studios are any good-peoples skin goes a tangerine colour. I hope you are rid of them soon. x

I have mild acne and if you go to the doctor you can get some pills and cream and they really do wonders - might not totally remove it but you'll see hardly any redness at all most of the time.

I don't know about the cheapest way ...but I use proactive and it works for me. Another thing you shouldn't put make up on your face all it does is clog your pores even more. Proactive has a oil free cover up which is like a concealer if you want to hide blemishes. It works just like regualr make up only it won't aggervate your skin more. Good luck!
