Well if there was no romantic attachment then i would probably trust a man more because girls no matter how friendly they are always *b i t c h* behind your back.
Men don't really talk or think the same way as girls so unless you two were romantically linked then i think a man would be more loyal to you as a friend than a girl.

a man definitely.
i think that women have a natural instinct to gossip (even me!). i tried to give up gossip and to stay away from it, but i still went bac to it and gossiped beind peoples backs, and i know it is hypocritical and stuff but i did it. i found comfort and found it a way to spice up chats on msn and yahoo msger as well.
a man would tell u straight in ur face and would not be two faced about nothing. he would tell u wot he would be feeling, even if he is feeling pain, u can see it in his face and if he is angry u can see it in his face. he would be by ur side and he would defend u as a real friend should. u can trust hin wotever happens, that ur deep secrets will be kept secret.
with a woman, u would not realise that ur deep secrets are being spread to the outside world. becos they would tell people the deep hidden truths and tell the other person to be quiet like they do not know. thats how things can be spread around with out people knowing and realising wot is happening around them.

I would 100% put all my trust in a man than a woman.
Women on the whole love to gossip...

Definitely a man. They don't tend to gossip like women. This is coming from a woman. Most women tend to tell another person things and can't keep their mouths shut.

I'd be more inclined to trust a man, but I really don't much trust either. Actually, I don't trust women at all. They've always betrayed me and none have given any indication that they would be different. Women tend to be self serving.

That is not really a fair comparison. You have one man and many women in your question. (ha ha)

I would say that I trust both equally. I have both a best friend in a male and two best female friends. One is my wife and I trust her with everything.

I can and have told both my male and female best friends private personal information and have never been hurt by either of them. Both of them are long time best friends of at least 10 years.

Take care,
Troy

Dishonesty is at the heart of all (most) women. They ask questions knowing that no one would answer truthfully. (Does this dress make me look fat?). They WANT lies. And their attitude towards life is deceitful. Testing each other or testing their men. Playing mindgames. It's all deceitful.

So men are more trustworthy, by far.
