I am looking for 2 shower curtains. One for my 2 year old son's bathroom and one for the bathroom in our master suite.
And I'm looking for a cool bedspread for the master.
I saw a gorgeous bed set by Michael Kors online.......$719! My husband would kill me if I bought that? Any inexpensive ideas are much appreciated!!!!!!!!

Well, in New York, there's a local bedding store, that only has top of the line bedding, but the prices are fantastic! Fortunoff. It is not too expensive. My bedding is called Taffeta Vine. It literally is taffeta and very silky. I got the whole set for about $300. The quality is MUCH better than bed bath and beyond and linens and things. The only thing is that my bedding is sooo beautiful that I must send it to the dry cleaners. They have a website, fortunoff.com, if you want to see how beautiful their things are.. If you want really cheap bedding, that isn't the best quality, but you can get the entire bed sets for under $50 bucks, go to brylanehome.com. It looks good, but trust me, the richness in fabric is not there. It's nice for a guest room that doesn't get used.

Inexpensive Bedspreads

besides being creative yourself and maybe adding a couple of stencils to a bedspreed.

I go to a very large chain here in australia called spot light.
They hold everything from pillows bedspreeds, linnon, curtians. everything in that line .

I went to one of there sales, like end of year or stock take sales.
and brought tones of stuff, all "really" marked down.
as i went back a couple of months later to get more, and found the prices were sky high again.
So some sales really do happen.. Keep your eye out and check prices before sales start so you get an idea of what you want.

I hope that Target is inexpensive for you they have a fine collection of shower curtains and bedspreads and clearance stuff so try there. Plus add a frig here or there hot glue gun is always helpful too. good luck !

Try "Linens and Things" and "Pottery Barn". There are great catalogs for that, too. One is "The Company Store." These places also have web sites.
