get her to a vet as soon as you can if she cant keep food down thats a sign that something is going on with her and she needs medical help. It could be a thyroid problem and she may needs meds everyday to help with that but get her to a vet as soon as you can.

We had a cat when I was a kid who threw up every day. It might be something as simple as a habit some cats develop some call "scarf n barf." Basically, the cat eats his/her food too fast and then vomits it back up. The first thing I would try is to feed the cat more often in smaller quantitities. i.e. If you feed the cat a whole can of food at once, instead feed him a quarter or half a can at a time a few times a day. And keep an eye on him when he eats to see if he's really scarfing down his food.

Or it could be the food. Feeding my cat 9 Lives is guaranteed to make her vomit. I have no idea why this is the case.

What is the cat vomiting? If it's undigested food, or if he vomits soon after mealtime, it's because he's eating too fast. If it's more digested it could be hairballs, in which case I'd try a hairball remedy next.

If neither thing fixes the problem, take the cat to the vet.

Your cat has hairballs. This causes the cat to vomit because it is not able to digest the hair and the hair is blocking the way for the food.

Resolution to your problem: Try hairball food, like Science Diet Hairball Control, or Nutro Natural Choice Hairball Control. You can also get products that come in treat like form which is Petromalt Hairball Treats, or a syrup like form called Petromalt, and it's in a tub. Check out the sites below for more info on those.

does it have a hairball? I have 7 cats and they have barfed hairballs sometimes, but then I just give them hairball medication and they are good to go. My mums older cat used to vomit all of the time too and they never did find out why, only thing I can tell you is that since it is an older cat, you really need to take it to a vet.

I had an older cat that did the same thing and I got some relief, not alot, from hairball remedy. I had asked the vet and that was the only suggestion he had. She never completely stopped and she lived to be 17 years old.

Your cat is getting old. I also have an 11 year old, who has respiratory problems and goes to the bathroom in places he shouldn't too often. It's just part of aging. If you want to stop it, however, I would go see your veterinarian immediately because if your cat throws everything up then he/she is not getting much food. And try a Senior cat formula. Good luck! :)

Some cats will habitually throw up for some unknown reason. It is best to take the cat to the vets because if it throws up too much, it can get liver damage and this you don't want.

make sure your cat has all the shots, immunizations, de-wormers she needs. some cats can handle change in cat food, but some cant. if you are feeding your cat anything from purina, friskies, fancy feast, iams, science diet...etc. you have to watch out because they change their formula alot and alot of the "by products" and "fillers" are unregulated, meaning for 1 year it can be feet and then the next it can be intestines from a horse...id get the cat checked out by your vet, and then switch to a holistic brand cat food. eagle pack, wellness, evo, are all great choices.

Chances are it is not the food (unless, maybe you changed it recently)....Your kitty is getting old and there could be any number of things the matter with her....Take her in to see the vet. just to make sure.....Throwing up everyday is not good for any one......She will get skinny and die...Take care of your pets.....They are counting on you!...ss
