You are not supposed to but i do it all the time. My health insurance does not cover eye care, so I try to make my contacts last longer. I've been doing it for the last 4 yrs and have not had any problems yet. Just don't wear them when they get to foggy. LOL.

Have you ever walked into the eye doctor and looked at the pamphlets of people whose lenses and retina were tore off from wearing the same contacts to long. Do you want your eyes looking like that? Wearing old contacts does more damage then good so i would reccommend putting on the backup glasses or buying more contacts. they dont hurt right then but the wear and tear on your eyes will hurt in the long run.

Of course your eye doctor will not recommend it but I have family members who will wear them longer and it doesn't bother them. As much as they cost you might as well get your money's worth. Don't overdo it though because after so long they will start to stick to your eye and you will have a hard time taking them out.
