Tattoo Ink?

Im going to do my own tattoo i made the Machine but im not sure what Ink to use i herd Indian ink is the best

you are right but it is called india ink not indian ink. just so you dont appear silly at the store asking for it. as one who has had homemade tatts, don't do it!! go to a pro!!

Unless this is for a personal experiment in masochism i suggest givign up now. You can put anything in the contraption you have made and it will probably work. There are special components etc needed in tattooing ink for a reason, amine proteins found in many non suitable colours are carcinogens among other nasties you might get in the bottle of whatever unsterile mixed with sawdust etc junk you want to buy from the local hobby mall.
Just make sure you're health insurance is upto date and that you take yourself to the doctor when you're done to check for ink poisoning and infections from using unsterile and unsafe equipment. There are professionals for a reason.


And as to the girl who thinks its ok but is now a "professional" somehow i dont believe you because no licensed professional worth a damn condones this kind of illegal activity that publicly damages our industry.

You are kidding right? You have the "knowledge" to make a tattoo machine, but don't know anything about ink? Yeah, good luck with that.

Indian ink is the norm for someone using a home gun. Its best to stick with black ar blue ....
You can get it at hobby lobby somtimes walmart.

its called india. Pelikan black is the best and it don't turn "green". get it at an art store or order it from huck spaulding. I know you're not going to listen to me but i have to say this. The worst thing anyone can do to themselves in the tat field is tattoo on themselves. Do i need to repeat myself?
