I met my husband on the net, his daughter met her husband on the net, his other daughter is engaged to someone she met on the net, and my best friend met her husband on the net. Yes, it's possible to meet someone, fall in love and have a fulfilling life with that person. All of us met on Match.com.

To explain more - we met on Match.com, he called me the next day and we met a couple days after that in person. He lived locally, and we started dating. Three years to the day we first contacted each other on Match.com we were married.

of course it is possible, the problem with romantic love over the net though is that one builds up an ideal of someone that is really not the reality, more so than in in person relationships, because you dont actually see the person, you dont talk to them and hear their off the cuff remarks, you get to build a fantasy of them, which is much easier to love and get hooked on... but friendship love on the net, that is a great thing, it has kept me sane from time to time, and yeah romantic love can work too if both people are reasonable and into it, and yeah be careful too please

Two of my friends met their husbands on the Internet. One through an online dating forum, and the other met long distance. They'd only met a handful of times before getting married.

The way I look at it is that most people criticize Internet relationships because neither person knows who the other one really is. Like, the person on the other end of the computer is a freak. But really, most people looking for love online aren't freaks, they're just tired of the typical bars. And really, meeting a guy in a bar rather than online does not mean that he isn't a freak, or that you know who he really is. People can lie in person too.

So yes, I think it's possible.

yes it is very possible. I found love on the net and have been with him going on 6 years. I met him in person and we hit it off great and then we moved in with each other. We are getting in May of this year. Good luck

I totally do not understand how people can find love on the net. You would have to be absolutley sure that the person was who they were really claming to be, which would be difficult and you would have to have alot of spare time to search for this person ?and keep in contact with them. But who knows?maybe it is possible

I used to not think the internet dating or finding someone compatible with you was the real thing until it happened to me 2 years ago and now we are engaged. It is possible for some people to find love on here; however, it's not always that way for others.

You are better off going down to the local brothel for a full service job. Just joking but there are a lot of retards in here. I would be fearful of Internet romance.

I think that it is possible to meet someone online, meet in person and fall in love but I would advise you to be very careful as there are alot of crazies out there.I feel that it is much better to meet someone in person, get to know that person/date and see where it goes from there.

Depends on those involved. I had a family member meet their spouse online almost a decade ago and they are happily married, and have kids together. Honesty and caution should be used. Not everyone is so lucky.
