I think that you are wrong in what you say about there being more Christians than Jews that were killed in the Holocaust. There were about 2 million jews in total that were killed. Yes there were other nationalities too but it all started with the great depression as you will be aware and apparently the jews were to blame. So they were targeted more. If you want more information look at a site called www.wildolive.co.uk.

Maybe in some places all the talk is about jews but many people also know that in total Hitler's movement killed 11 million people who did not live up to his high standards. Stalin killed 50 million people, however he killed anyone he wanted that he did not trust and he did not judge by color of skin, religion, or lifestyle like Hitler did. We tend to talk about only the Jews(even though we don't) because there population has gone through a lot and gets blamed a lot of the time for things they did not really do. They also lost 6 million people which is a lot for one group of people. I hope this helps your understanding. I also think you should not believe everything you read until you have used other resources to back up what you have read.

I think perhaps because Jewish people were singled out as a race, while Christians could be of any race. It's true that way too many people died, Jews, Christians, Atheists, Homosexuals, Heterosexuals, Children, etc. but none of these are considered an actual race.

I also think that part of it is world guilt in that even when Jewish people were trying to flee they were turned away by almost every country they tried to go to. Strangely enough there is a large Jewish settlement in Chines because it was one of the places they could go to. The Germans revoked the citizenship of Jewish people and because of this they were not allowed to travel to other countries, it would be like trying to get into the US legally but without a passport. Remember, the EU wasn't around and the borders were pretty tight, it had been less than 50 years since the last world war and people were still pretty sketchy about their borders. That and European countries, along with most other nations, have a poor track record when dealing with Jewish people.

Read about the Balfour Declaration, that will explain why not just Hitler ,but all of Germany hated the Jews. As for Russia Genrikh Yagoda," the greatest Jewish murderer of the 20th Century, the GPU's deputy commander and the founder and commander of the NKVD. Yagoda diligently implemented Stalin's collectivization orders and is responsible for the deaths of at least 10 million Christian people. His Jewish deputies established and managed the Gulag system.

While the victims of the Holocaust were primarily Jews, the Nazis also persecuted and slaughtered the members of other groups they considered inferior, undesirable or dangerous, including Poles and other Slavic peoples such as Russians, Belarusians and Serbs, Bosniaks[32], Roma & Sinti (also known as Gypsies), and some Africans, Asians and others who did not belong to the "Aryan race"; the mentally ill and the physically disabled; homosexuals; and political opponents and religious dissidents such as communists, trade unionists, Freemasons and Jehovah's Witnesses.[33]

The victims of the Holocaust were generally described by the Nazis as "undesirables," "enemies of the state", "asocial elements," and "moral degenerates," labels that went hand-in-hand with their term Untermensch ("sub-human").
* An estimated 5 to 6 million Jews,[35] including 3 million Polish Jews
* 1.8 – 1.9 million Christian Poles and other (non-Jewish) Poles (estimate includes civilians killed as a result of Nazi aggression and occupation but does not include the military casualties of Nazi aggression or the victims of the Soviet occupation of eastern Poland and of deportations to Central Asia and Siberia)[36]
* 200,000–800,000 Roma & Sinti (Gypsies)
* 200,000–300,000 people with disabilities
* 100,000 communists
* 10,000–25,000 homosexual men
* 2,500–5,000 Jehovah's Witnesses[37]

Not everyone thingks that it was all about Jews.
What is the most important thing? We never never forget that so many people died becasue of one group who thought they were better than everyone else.
No one is.

It wasnt more Christians than Jews- Jews were a primary target group however people do tend to ignore the fact that there were many many Christians and other people executed in just the same manner.

About 4-5 million Jews were killed. About 1-2 million non-aryans. This included ,homosexuals, the mentally ill, political prisoners, refugees,handicapped persons. The Russians killed over 20 million people in the Gulags during WWII. Hitler and his top brass, were followers of the occult.

you are ridiculous! Do you think you can just make things up and that makes it true? There is no factual basis or support for your stupid comments above, not only were more Jews killed in the holocaust than Christians, the numbers are not even close!

Remember how many more Christians there are than Jews. Six million Christians is a relatively small percentage; six million Jews is more than half of them.

And, as previously pointed out, Christians were killed for being Polish, Rroma, homosexual, disabled, Jehovah's Witness or for political reasons; Jews were killed for being Jews.

they only talk about jews because in many history books its all about hitlers plan for the extermination of the jews. hitler never said that he wanted to kill christians just jews the fact is that he looked for the jews in background like if one of their parents or grandparents was a jew then so were they even if they switched so history tends to leave that part out
