HI...i am 19 yrs. old and i am with a 22yr old guy...this is actually my very first boyfriend...and well i was wondering if it is normal for guys to talk about their ex-girlfriends because my boyfriend has...
i mean he's not talking about her 24/7 but in about a month that we've been together he's mentioned her twice...is that bad? i seriously need help since im new to relationships...and if you want to add any other advice i'd really appreciate it since this is definitely new to me...THANK YOu!

Ohh Hell yeah!! lol Guys talk like we do. One thing you don't want really, is him to shut you out and avoid all converstaion. The two of you is NEW. You will see over time anyways, If you can or do get along well enuff.
yup- it happens, I have had a few ex's in my day, and I didnt bring them all up- all the time, but I know I do, with new BF, as we talk about each others Ex's "Freely", as we had been with them for a number of yrs,
So no Problem, hearing bout an Ex Twice, is okay. Stop thinkin bout it. I bet ya, you will too, If he becomes your ex eventually, as you said, He is YOUR First Real BF. sooo yeah, just keep going, enjoy him! :)

Depends on what he says about her, and when. Everybody can mention previous relationships on occasion, but in a casual way. If you have any curiosity about her, ask him, just don't pry and keep harping. Try to focus on what the two of you are interested in and your long term goals, and have fun things planned. Keep something going with other friends so he will have a good base of relationships with other couples and associate you with good times. Best wishes

If you feel uncomfortable hearing you new bf talk about his ex.. then talk to him about it. If they are still really good friends then he might mention here from time to time, but honestly he shouldn't be talking about her as an ex (if they are still friends he would talk about his friend)

if you teally do not like to hear him talkimg about her then you need to tell him how it makes you feel. and then if he still does notg stop then he might not be the right giys for you. the reason i say that is because if he really cares about you and the way that you feel then he is going to think about the things that you have to tell him and he will really take heed in what you have to say....

yup, its normal. Both genders will tend to talk about their ex's during another relationship especially if that previous relationship was really good for them.

He may not be over her or they might have been really close before they started datiing so hes just used to talking about her.

okay... i read in a magazine that if he can talk about his ex freely without getting emotional then hes problyover her.. on the other hand if hes comparing you to... then i think thats disrespectful.

It's normal if he's comparing you to her and thinks you are way better than her...he's just remembering how happy he is to be rid of her that's all.
