I have to get up at 5 am to be at work by 7, then I get off around 8 or 9 pm. I walk all day long as a nurse and am so wiped out, it seems ridiculous to try to exersize when I get home late at nite. I do have 2-3 days off a week.
Ideally, I will lose about 75 lbs to get down to my normal weight. I have cut out fast food. No candy or junk food, cut out all the pop and resorted to iced tea with Splenda or water.
I have started weight watchers and am trying to get healthy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a heart problem and cannot do aerobic exersize and am on a beta blocker.
Can you give me some ideas to lose weight. I have to face my heart doctor in May and has encouraged me to tone up and slim down.

drink cool water and lots of it. weight watcher's is good and all if you need a group to talk to. my mom did it but she really didn't lose anythin but money. the same things they do you can do on your own. cut back on your portion sizes. if you can possible grill somethin rather than fry it do so. some people includin me can't stand to bake food, so grillin gives that extra umf and still allows you to cook with less oils and other fats. always when possible eat more veggies than your other foods. they will fill you up and keep you that way longer. i hope that sorta helps. good luck~!

I used to work all day long like that as well. Have you ever heard of Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream? The huge plant, that's where I worked. Not only tiring, but beats your body up as well. I would do what you have done to a certain extent, but you shouldn't ever deprive your body of everything, if you're craving some Ben and Jerry's feel free to grab a couple of bites here and there, but make a little go a long way. Also, as for the heart problem, I have one as well. You should try to walk for 30 minutes when you get home at night. Walking is the best thing in the World by the way for your heart, also, try having a glass of red wine with a meal, good for your heart too. Another thing is, you don't have to do crunches at 100 miles per hour, you can slowly rise and fall allowing your lungs to open and close as necessary. If you can, 2-3 days a week exercising is great. Most healthy people rarely exercise that often. Why don't you draw up a little itinerary of things that are okay with your heart problem to do at the gym and also fit in your schedule and try it out for a while. I am a huge procrastinater, but I have lost 12 lbs. this way. Good luck dear!

if you want to lose weight, improve your health generally, and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. The products are friendy if you are on meds for a heart condition,as I am. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months. The stuff is amazing

You will have to make your excercise routine fit into your days off. For the days you work, I would suggest getting a yoga book or video and learn a short yoga routine for after work. It will tone your body, relax you, and you will find new energy you never knew you had.
