Not much - a person needs both. Ethics just tells people which good moral values that you excel in. He's an ethical person because of moral, moral, and moral.

Morals are something us use to judge yourself and ethics are what the rest of the world uses to judge you.

Example I remember from somewhere...
The guy who has morals knows it's wrong to cheat on his wife so he doesn't cheat. The guy who has ethics know's it's wrong to cheat on his wife but does it anyways.

I may have remembered it backwards though, it may be the other way around.
