The Red Cross offers CPR/First Aide courses (I work there). To find a local Chapter, go to www.redcross.org. Most chapters will allow you to register online. You may want to call just to make sure that you were added if you do.

check the phone book for some options: local ambulance service or fire department; American Heart Association; Red Cross; or community college.
if you plan to work in the medical field, you will need a class from the American Heart Association which can taken from anyone but the Red Cross. their certification is for lifeguards and the general public.
